Sampling protocol was as follows. Instead of processing the trays individually we decided to take jobs for all the trays. After opening all the hanging devices and laying the trays out in a logical order. Christine photographed the trays and tiles, then counted conspecifics, and removed conspecifics from each tray. I cleaned the trays and collected the dead for later counting. After organizing the tray, Christine counted the living then I collected 8 live specimens per tray. We also collected 1 hobo logger and then rebuilt the hanging devices and hung the trays.
The trays had a lot of algae on top as well as sea urchins, sea stars, shrimp, anemones, and gunnels. The table below show the live counts as well as conspecific counts. Mortality, totals, and missing data will be added later after mortalities have been counted.
